About Ashley Zydron

Resident In Counseling

Ashley Zydron, MSEd  is a Resident in Counseling under the supervision of Dane Wendell, owner of Williamsburg Youth Counseling.  She joins the practice with 14 years of experience as an award-winning educator, 10 of which have been spent as a licensed school counselor in the state of Virginia. A former classroom teacher and literacy coach, Ashley has supported students and families in both public and private school settings.  These experiences have equipped her with a depth of knowledge and breadth of exposure she brings to each client she serves.

In her therapeutic practice, Ashley offers clients a judgement-free partnership to help identify opportunities for growth and build skills to do so.  Ashley’s natural warmth and nurturing demeanor complement a strength-based, narrative approach used to deliver evidence-based practices tailored to each client.   

A parent herself, Ashley, or “Ms. Ashley” to her Williamsburg Youth clients, cares deeply about the well-being of all children and is passionate about helping families find harmony together.  

Regular evening and weekend sessions are offered virtually, with in-person sessions available by appointment.
