About Darianne Etheridge

Resident In Counseling

Darianne believes everyone deserves a safe and supportive space where they feel heard, understood, and accepted. As a Resident in Counseling, her approach is person-centered and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused practices to help clients develop coping skills, understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and build on their strengths. She has experience supporting children and adolescents in regulating emotions, building self-confidence, strengthening social skills, and managing academic and life stressors.

Before entering private practice, she worked as both a teacher and school counselor, giving her a strong understanding of the challenges families face inside and outside of school settings. She recognizes how overwhelming navigating school systems can be and enjoys supporting families through processes such as 504 Plans, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Her goal is to ensure families feel informed, supported, and confident as they advocate for their child’s needs.

Outside of her professional role, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
